THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL KIDDING SEASON!
We are done kidding for our 2024 season. This is the last chance to add Acres of Fun Spectacular Graffiti genetics to your herd, he has been retired. Graffiti was imported from Baxter, MN prior to the borders being closed. Thank you and Congratulations! to all who acquired these exceptional kids. Not only does Graffiti throw solid conformation, and easy temperament, but he offers a genetic diversity that you can no longer import.
Our tests continue to come back negative for Johnes, and CAE. We tested our herd in 2023 for CL with negative results and have had no abscesses.
We continue to be committed to the health of our herd, and yours.
Thank you so much!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us over the years. We absolutely love you all!!
WHATS NEW
BIG NEWS!!!
After many years of putting our hearts and souls into our beautiful herd, we have decided to retire. The 2024 /25 will be our last breeding season. We wanted to offer the opportunity to add our genetics to your herd.
If there is a pairing you specifically want to add to your herd, please reach out to us. Breeding will commence in late November /early December for March / April kids. We will be updating the website to reflect does and bucks available for breeding, aside from our selected pairs.
In addition, in the spring of 2025, we will entertain offers on select breeding stock. All with clean health papers. We will not sell singles….. period. These goats have bonded units and will only be sold together. This is not a herd dispersal.
If anyone is looking for small starter group or small breeding herd this is the perfect opportunity.
Check out our breeding pair for the 2024/25 kidding season
ABOUT
US
WE ARE TURTLE MOUNTAIN FAINTERS...... and we LOVE our goats.
My name is Heather Young and together with my husband Vince, we are Turtle Mountain Fainters. We reside in the beautiful Turtle Mountains in southern Manitoba with our amazing herd of fainting goats, cats and dogs, chickens and guinea fowl.
We started "collecting" fainting goats in July of 2016 when we brought home Cookie and Bella, followed closely by Tim and Prancer in August and then Emmy and Ruby that September. We strive to constantly improve our genetics, by adding new imported lines to our herd, we believe we are succeeding. Many, many goats later here we are, we have never been happier living our very own dream.
We are a proud member of the Myotonic Goat Registry. If you would like to learn more about the Myotonic breed, click the MGR logo and check out their website for information on breed standards and history.
